Eleanor Balladares

I worked with a number of Ethiopian Refugees in California. They told us tales of the American peace corp teachers they had in Gondar. One lady was so loved by the children that they (the cildren)made up a song to sing to her horse, so he would bring her to school faster.
My friends told me that there were people from many other countries teaching in Ethiopia, but none so loved and so generous as the Americans. It really made me proud.
